Lopez Winery’s state of the art equipment
Here is the main bus terminal in Mendoza … well, not really … but it would have been very cool. These casks of the Lopez Winery held about a billion gallons of wine each. Think of the party you could throw with one of those!
The Lopez Winery was a large winery with state-of-the-art wine making equipment.

Here is the selection from Lopez including olive oil. One of each please!

Our next stop was a small winery called Viniterra.

Viniterra’s equipment was much more traditional than Lopez and the annual production was much smaller. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the nice warm front room and watched the sun set.

All of the wine and general ambiance of Argentina got us thinking about our friend Roxi in Bariloche a mere 20 hour bus ride away in Patagonia. We gave her a call, convinced her to take us in for a week or two and bought our tickets for the next day.
